During the Lakers’ victory over the Jazz on November 21, James scored 39,000 points. His outstanding performance was more than compensated for by his meager 17 points. Regardless, the fact that the Lakers were able to secure a victory despite not receiving a spectacular performance from James—who is still the team’s engine—in his 21st season is encouraging.

He has averaged 25.5 points, 8.2 rebounds, and 6.6% assists in 16 games played. Moreover, he is playing just under 34 minutes per game, which puts him tied for 40th in the league. This is quite an accomplishment for a guy who is about to be 39 years old, especially considering that he had previously stated that he would be playing on a minutes limit this season.

A fitting homage to the four-time MVP, who guided the Cavaliers to their sole championship in 2016, is the film put together by the team. Beyond that, though, it’s simply a fantastic piece of entertainment. The editing is top-notch, and it features some fantastic footage that James rarely includes in his highlight reels.
